Timelines and At-A-Glance Maps
2009-2010 Revised At-A-Glance Maps were posted on June 5, 2009.
2009-2010 Revised Recommended Instructional Timelines (RITs) were posted on Aug. 3, 2009. The RITs are available only in the password-protected ARRC / Curriculum Management Tool.
Round Rock ISD has developed the ARRC with the assistance of teachers, instructional coaches, and curriculum specialists. The ARRC is aligned with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and state assessments. It outlines the learning goals and objectives RRISD students are expected to achieve and provides resources for instruction. The ARRC provides teachers with planning documents that:
- Ensure equal opportunities for all students to learn the curriculum
- Reduce gaps and unproductive redundancies in the curriculum
- Serve as a basis for district benchmark assessments
- Focus teacher planning time on instruction
Curriculum documents can be accessed in two ways - one public and one password-protected.
Internet - public access: At-A-Glance Maps
ARRC / Curriculum Management Tool (Intranet - password protected ): At-A-Glance Maps & Recommended Instructional Timelines
- RRISD personnel may access the ARRC through Curriculum Management Tool (CMT) in two ways:
- Through GradeSpeed
- Through remote access when GradeSpeed is not available
ARRC documents include:
- At-A-Glance Maps
- Recommended Instructional Timelines
- Six or nine week bundles of TEKS/SEs
- Examples and specifications defining the TEKS/SEs
- Language of Instruction
- Additional resources
RRISD employee login to Curriculum Management Tool (password protected)
District educators may obtain a login and password from their campus-based Instructional Technology Specialist (ITS).
*Log in through GradeSpeed: Click on the icon of a book and pen.
*This access can only be used when GradeSpeed is available during the school year.

*When accessing remotely, you will be prompted twice for a login. The first time you will need to provide your LotusNotes login and your LotusNotes remote access password.
The second login screen is for the Curriculum Management Tools environment. Grades 3-12 teachers will use their six-digit employee ID and their GradeSpeed password. Grade K-2 teachers, principals, assistant principals and other instructional staff will use their six-digit employee ID along with their password. If you are having trouble accessing remotely, please contact your campus instructional technology specialist.
