Bond Oversight Committee
The Bond Oversight Committee will review the status of capital projects, bond expenditures, project schedules, and the timelines of bond projects.
Boundary Committee - CURRENTLY INACTIVE
The Boundary Committee will review the proposed elementary boundary adjustments resulting from the opening on Elsa England ES. Additionally, the district will be looking at high school boundaries to provide relief to Cedar Ridge High School due to expected overcrowding and make recommendations to the Board of Trustees.
Grading Committee - CURRENTLY INACTIVE
The RRISD Board of Trustees and Superintendent appointed a committee to allow for broad, community-based involvement in the review of the district’s legal and local policies and practices related to the grading of students in Round Rock ISD. The District found it necessary to review its current practices regarding grading after receiving community input through public forums.
Leadership Round Rock ISD
Leadership Round Rock ISD will give approximately 20 Round Rock ISD stakeholders, representing all areas of our district, the opportunity to go “behind the scenes” of Round Rock ISD, meet the people who are responsible for programs and services, and see first-hand how the district creates a climate of success for our rapidly growing, diverse student population.
Rank in Class Committee - CURRENTLY INACTIVE
The Rank in Class Committee will review the district's legal and local policies and practices related to the reporting of Rank in Class (RIC) in Round Rock ISD.
Safety Committee
The Safety Committee will review district safety and security programs, industry best practices, and make recommendations to the superintendent.
School Health Advisory Committee
The RRISD School Health Advisory Council serves to inform and engage the Board of Trustees on issues surrounding Coordinated School Health. By engaging a variety of community stakeholders, and especially district parents, our districts school health policies and education curriculum reflect the values and needs of the community.
School Naming Committee - CURRENTLY INACTIVE
The School Naming Committee will consist of seven citizens of the District, one selected by each of the seven Board members, one Board member appointed by the Board President, and one administrator appointed by the Superintendent. The committee will study recommendations for school names and present their recommendation(s) to the Board.
