Join our efforts to create and sustain high quality afterschool programs in RRISD! Your time, expertise, and resources will provide students with academic support and enrichment opportunities through the After School Promoting Intensive Remediation and Enrichment program.

Career Fair
Help provide ninth grade students a glimpse at their future! This annual event provides 800 ninth grade students an opportunity to attend resume writing and interview technique workshops as well as a traditional 'Job Fair'.
Community-Based Vocational Instruction and Experience
Your business can act as a training site or employer to students with disabilities! These students have diverse talents and skills AND share one common goal - employment. Help them achieve their greatest potential.
Families in Transition Program
Support students who lack a permanent residence by becoming a mentor or donating goods and services that could ease family financial burdens and allow the child to focus on their education.
Fine Arts
Business, individuals, theatres, dance studios, musical organizations, museums, art studios, galleries, universities, and others can enrich the RRISD fine arts education! This can include (but certainly not limited to) presentations, clinics, mentoring, apprenticeships, loan of equipment of costumes, free or discounted tickets, critiques, etc.
High School Academies
Share your enthusiasm with RRISD students who have similar professional interests! With a goal of graduating students who are better prepared to join industries and pursue professional degrees, these Academies offer a 'school within a school' program of specialized career-related studies within a traditional and comprehensive high school campus.
New Beginnings/New Directions/New Horizons programs
Help guide a group of elementary, middle and high school students through weekly activities encouraging them to make wise choices and stay in school! These students are the future of our community and need additional support to recognize their full potential.
Parent Summit
Participate in this annual event bringing together hundreds of parents and educators to discover how everyone can work together to ensure all students are successful! Over thirty sessions on a variety of parenting topics and a keynote speaker are typically offered.
Principal for a Day
What would you do if you were Principal for a day? The Partners in Education Foundation invites community leaders and future partners to act as guest principals in order to see first hand the challenges and successes involved in educating children today.
PRO Centers
Interact with our vast community of RRISD parents through the Parent Resource and Opportunity Center! PRO Centers were established to support parents through classes, community resources and a closer connection to school activities.
PTA
Join one of the 44 local unit PTAs at RRISD campuses and support their many efforts.
Partners in Education
Consider becoming a part of this nonprofit organization that raises money to support programs not funded by traditional tax dollars. The "Foundation" distributes school supplies to economically disadvantaged students, awards grants to innovative teachers across the district, honors student committed to voluntarism with scholarships and seeks to bring local business men and women into RRISD schools to enrich, enhance and maximize student's educational experience.
Service Learning
Assist teachers and students as they give back to our community and develop academic skills! Service Learning projects allow educators to wrap curriculum around real life issues that bring out student's passions.
STARS Mentor Program
Be a role model or resource by offering consistent support and friendship to one RRISD student for 30 minutes a week at an elementary, middle, or high school campus! The STARS Mentor program offers training and support this experience beneficial to you and the students.
