Many Round Rock ISD elementary students have a great opportunity to join the MIDI for Kids program. The program is designed to teach music reading, keyboard playing, improvision and critical thinking skills. Guitars classes are also taught on select campuses. This is an after school class being taught to students of Blackland Prairie-Guitars & Keyboards, Bluebonnet-Keyboards,Brushy Creek - Guitars & Keyboards, Great Oaks-Keyboards, Jollyville-Keyboards, Pond Springs-Keyboards, Teravista-Keyboards, and Union Hill-Keyboards. Research shows that children participating in music ensembles have higher academic success in better critical thinking skills!
