Official State Records Retention

The Government Code, Section 441.158, provides that the Texas State Library and Archives Commission shall issue records retention schedules for each type of local government. RRISD has adoped the following Texas Library and Archives Commission record retention schedules:

• Local Schedule SD - Retention Schedule for Records of Public School Districts
• Local Schedule GR - Retention Schedule for Records Common to All Local Government
• Local Schedule TX - Retention Schedule for Records of Property Taxation
• Local Schedule EL - Retention Schedule for Records of Elections and Voter Registration
