Communications with the community is critical to generating understanding, acceptance, and support of district initiatives and decisions. The Community Relations Department serves constituents with a variety of communications tools.

All of our publications open in PDF format.


Community Bulletin
The district provides the editorial content and layout for a monthly page, called the Community Bulletin, in the Austin American-Statesman and the Round Rock Leader which are published at no cost to the district. The Community Bulletin features district achievements and programs, campus honors, budget and bond updates, and a message from the Superintendent. More than 250,000 readers see the Community Bulletin each month and approximately 25,000 reprints are distributed to staff and students.

Close-Up
Close-Up is published by the RRISD Community Relations Department. It is distributed to all employees via e-mail. Close-Up features a message from the Superintendent and other news of interest to staff.
