Nutrient Standard Menu Planning
Round Rock ISD Schools follow the Nutrient Standard Menu Planning. The meals must meet the Recommended Daily Allowance established by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Offer Versus Serve Program
Round Rock ISD participates in the Offer vs. Serve Program. This program allows students to choose what they would like to eat. The meals are broken down into components and the students are required to take a certain number of components to have the meal qualify as a reimbursable meal. The following charts show the breakdown of these components.

Breakfast

  • Elementaries: The side dish may be selected.
  • Milk may be selected or declined. A total of 2 menu items must be chosen, although all 3 may be taken
  • Secondaries: Two side dish items may be selected. Milk may be be selected or declined. A total of 3 menu items must be chosen, although all may be taken.

Lunch

  • Entree: Student must select one
  • Side Dish (vegetables & fruit): Student may select up to 3 items
  • Milk: Student may select or decline
  • A minimum of 3 items must be taken
  • A maximum of 5 items may be taken

Elementary Prices

  • Student Breakfast $1.35
  • Reduced Breakfast $0.30
  • Adult and Child Guest Breakfast - a la carte
  • Student Lunch $2.05
  • Reduced Lunch $0.40
  • Adult and Child Guest Lunch - $2.75

Secondary Prices

  • Student Breakfast $1.35
  • Reduced Breakfast $0.30
  • Adult and Child Guest Breakfast - a la carte
  • Student Lunch $2.30
  • Reduced Lunch $0.40
  • Adult and Child Guest Lunch - $2.75
