Dell Health and Arts Mini Grants Announced

The Michael & Susan Dell Community Collaborative for Child Health is pleased to announce elementary & middle schools the “Health in Art” Mini-Grants. Between 10-15 awards of $250 to $500 have been offered to support school-based art projects that inspire creativity, healthy living and child health.

The grants are sponsored by the Michael & Susan Dell Center for Healthy Living at The University of Texas School of Public Health with funding from the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation’s Be Well Walk.
The following Round Rock ISD schools received grants:

  • Cactus Ranch Elementary School – $500 for an outdoor mural incorporating health, nutrition and safety. Jez St. John / Visual Art Faculty
  • Elsa England Elementary School – $250 for artistic distance markers on the track. Suzanne West / Visual Art Faculty
  • Forest Creek Elementary School – $250 for ceramic totems in the outdoor learning center. Pam Arnold / Visual Art Faculty
