Students, parents and staff at Herrington work together to create a warm and safe environment where students and teachers thrive in the learning process. Student safety and student learning is the focus in their decision making.
“Herrington is an inclusive community,” Herrington Principal Julie Nelson said. “I always say that Herrington is the ‘Happiest Place on Earth,’ second only to Disneyland.”
The campus offers two Functional Academic Classrooms (FAC), Preschool Programs for Children with Disabilities (PPCD) with Together We Can (TWC) for special education students and two TAG classes. Herrington is a dual language campus with two dual language classes in each grade level. All staff are trained and implement Project Based Learning (PBL) throughout the year in all grade levels. Most of the staff at Herrington have ESL certificates to better meet the unique needs of our students.
Herrington Elementary School is located at 2850 Paloma Lake Boulevard in Round Rock and serves 863 students in Early Childhood Education through fifth grade. Learn more about Herrington Elementary at its campus website.
