Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation Scholarship Applications Open Now

Round Rock ISD Partners in Education (PIE) Foundation Scholarship applications are now available for current seniors to complete before the deadline of March 8, 2017.

Applications are located on the Partners in Education Foundation website where students should apply directly online.

PIE Foundation scholarships are open to seniors graduating in 2017 to apply until midnight on March 8, 2017, with no extensions allowed. Seniors may apply for as many scholarships for which they are qualified. The qualifications for each scholarship are listed in the prerequisites.

Over $100,000 in scholarships will be awarded this year. Of the 21 scholarships offered, areas of opportunity include mentoring, education, band, choir, orchestra and volunteering. Two new scholarships were added this year, the Sean Kelley Memorial Scholarship and the Ryan Cole Murray Memorial Scholarship.

“With the support of families and local businesses we are honored to support over $100,000 in scholarship funding for students pursuing higher education at a college, technical or trade school,” said Marianne Reap, executive director of the Partners in Education Foundation. “Our wish is that every student takes this opportunity to apply for one or more of the scholarships that match the criteria required for eligibility”.

The Foundation is available to accept tax-deductible donations to any scholarship throughout the year “in honor of or in memory of” a loved one. For additional information, please feel free to contact Debbie Mueller, at 512-464-5600 or rrisdpief@rrisdeducationfoundation.org.
