Board of Trustees asks for community input in selection of appointee for Trustee Place 6 position

The Round Rock ISD Board of Trustees interviewed four candidates for the Trustee Place 6 position during a called meeting on Nov. 9, and postponed a final decision until next week.

Two members of the Board of Trustees were unable to attend the interviews and the additional time will allow them to review videos of the candidate’s interviews before weighing in on the decision, Board President Diane M. Cox said. Cox, as well as other Trustees, also said they would welcome the opportunity to hear input from members of the community before making a final decision. The interviews are available for public viewing on the Board of Trustee website.

Candidates interviewed were John Grey; Jennifer Henderson; Steve Math; and Kristine Parker.

Community members interested in providing feedback on the candidates to the Board of Trustees can email board_of_trustees@roundrockisd.org.

The Board of Trustees may choose to appoint and swear in the new Trustee during their Regular Meeting on Nov. 16. If sworn in, he or she will immediately begin their official term of service and will participate in the Nov. 16 meeting.
