Blackland Prairie Elementary is proud to announce that Assistant Principal Mandi Vogel has been recognized by the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA) as the 2026 NAESP National Outstanding Assistant Principal of the Year for Texas.

Spearheading a comprehensive overhaul of the Student Support Team (SST) process to provide targeted support for every student.
Establishing a step by step Professional Learning Community (PLC) process to enhance teacher collaboration and instruction.
Maintaining our status as a Lighthouse campus and aligning student leadership roles with the 8 Habits framework.
