Construction Technology

Overview

Students in the Construction Technology program gain knowledge and required skills to enter the workforce as carpenters or building maintenance supervisors or prepare for a postsecondary degree in construction management, architecture or engineering.

Students have the opportunity to earn Industry Based Certifications. These certifications help students stand out in interviews, help students gain confidence in a subject area, and give students valuable experience in preparing for the level of rigor required for industry certification exams they may face in the future.

OSHA 10-Hr Construction Safety Authorization

NCCER Core Level I

Students who enroll in Principles of Construction have the opportunity to earn these certifications.

NCCER Carpentry Fundamentals Level 1

Students who enroll in Construction Technology I have the opportunity to earn this certification.

NCCER Carpentry Level 2

Students who enroll in Construction Technology II have the opportunity to earn this certification.

OSHA 30-Hr Construction

Students who enroll in Practicum in Construction Technology have the opportunity to earn this certification.
