Floral Design

Overview

The Floral Design program of study develops students’ ability to identify and demonstrate the principles and techniques related to floral design as well as develop an understanding of the management of floral enterprises. Students will be introduced to the design elements and planning techniques used to produce unique specialty floral designs.

Available Industry Certifications

Students have the opportunity to earn Industry Based Certifications. These certifications help students stand out in interviews, help students gain confidence in a subject area, and give students valuable experience in preparing for the level of rigor required for industry certification exams they may face in the future.

TSFA Floral Skills Knowledge Based

Students who enroll in Floral Design have the opportunity to earn this certification.

Texas State Florists' Association Level 1 Certification

Students who enroll in Advanced Floral Design have the opportunity to earn this certification.
