Graphic Design

Overview

Careers in graphic design and illustration span all aspects of the advertising and visual communication industries. Students will be expected to develop and understanding of the industry with a focus on fundamental elements and principles of visual art and design.

Available Industry Certifications

Students have the opportunity to earn Industry Based Certifications. These certifications help students stand out in interviews, help students gain confidence in a subject area, and give students valuable experience in preparing for the level of rigor required for industry certification exams they may face in the future.

Adobe Photoshop

Students who enroll in Digital Media have the opportunity to earn this certification.

Adobe Illustrator

Students who enroll in Graphic Design and Illustration I have the opportunity to earn this certification.

Adobe InDesign

Students who enroll in Graphic Design and Illustration II have the opportunity to earn this certification.
