The Round Rock Public Library’s Library on the Go and Round Rock ISD’s Pop-Up Library are teaming up to bring books straight to the community! Look for them at local parks and events all summer long—offering free access to books for readers of all ages.
Summer reading helps students prevent the "summer slide," a term used to describe the learning loss that can occur when school is out. By engaging with books over the summer, students keep their minds active, maintain reading skills, and continue building vocabulary and comprehension. Even just a few minutes of reading each day can make a big difference in helping students return to school ready to learn and succeed.
