Dear Round Rock ISD community,
What an incredible year! We have so much to be proud of. Every achievement, big or small, was made possible by you.
The end of each school year is a cumulation of thousands of hours of hard work and teamwork by countless dedicated individuals including teachers, families, bus drivers, custodians, coaches, counselors, librarians, police officers, nurses, campus staff, social workers, guest educators, administrators, technical professionals, volunteers, food service and maintenance staff, and PTA and booster club members. To everyone who had a part in supporting our students, helping them build confidence, grow, and learn - thank you. I deeply appreciate all you've done to make a difference in their lives.
This week, we celebrate and send off the Class of 2025. Congratulations to the graduates and their families from Cedar Ridge, Early College, McNeil, Round Rock, Stony Point, Success, and Westwood high schools. We are proud of everything you’ve achieved and excited to see you carry the spirit of excellence in all that you pursue. Cheers to the Class of 2025!
When the regular school year ends, our district continues serving our students and families through year-round programming. Over the summer months, we offer opportunities for added academic support, plus fun, safe, and affordable enrichment opportunities. We also serve healthy, no-cost meals to children and teens to help ensure no child goes hungry while school is out. Meals are available at multiple Round Rock ISD campuses and are open to all eligible children regardless of income or enrollment in a summer school program. No registration, ID, or proof of residency is required.
Mark your calendar for Saturday, July 26, and please join us for our annual Back to School Celebration! This exciting event welcomes thousands of families and community members as we gear up for a new school year. I hope to see you there!
Let’s take a moment to appreciate all that we’ve accomplished together. Below are links to district news stories highlighting just a few examples of the pride and excellence achieved this year.
Wishing you a fantastic summer—I’m excited to continue our work together in the year ahead!
Respectfully,
Dr. Hafedh “AZ” Azaiez
