Stage with man yelling into microphone and big letters that say R R I S D

This week, our Professional Development team hosted the second annual Connect 5! This event was made possible by Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation and the generous donation of $75,000 from the W.D. Kelley Foundation.

“We are proud to partner with the Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation to invest in professional development for every teacher in the district,” said Carl Illig, Executive Director of the W.D. Kelley Foundation.
“Education and career opportunity were deeply important to Mr. Kelley. We believe that through access to high-quality education, individuals can build meaningful and fulfilling careers. This grant reflects that belief and honors Mr. Kelley’s legacy by investing in the teachers who make that possible every day.”

Connect 5's theme, "Fostering Community and Engagement," offered numerous professional development opportunities and engaging activities centered around six key pillars, Learn, Apply, Uplift, Nourish, Connect, and Humanity, that were designed to prepare Round Rock ISD educators for the upcoming school year.
