A Round Rock ISD Career and Technical Education (CTE) administrator has been named the 2025 Administrator of the Year by the Career & Technical Association of Texas (CTAT).
The honor was announced during CTAT’s annual summer conference in July, where Peggy Mica, the district’s assistant director of Career and Technical Education, was recognized for her outstanding contributions to CTE across the state.
“There are so many amazing CTE administrators around the state who give their hearts and service to their students, staff, and communities,” she said. “I am completely honored to win this award. I am humbled to be recognized among them.”
Mica will now advance to the next stage of competition under the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE), where she will represent Texas in the Region IV Administrator of the Year category in spring 2026.
If selected as the regional winner, she will then proceed to compete for the national award in fall 2026.
