Dear Round Rock ISD Community,
From the excitement of new learning to the joy of reconnecting with friends, it’s clear our year is off to a strong and positive start. I’m grateful to our dedicated teachers, staff, and families for creating such a welcoming and supportive beginning for our students.
Our schools and educators are committed to supporting the whole child. Nurturing not only academic growth in the classroom, but also creating opportunities for students to discover their passions, build confidence, and develop skills that will serve them for a lifetime.
One of the most powerful ways we do this is with extracurricular activities. Activities like athletics, fine arts, JROTC, clubs, and leadership give students a place to belong, build confidence, and gain skills like teamwork, discipline, creativity, and resilience, all qualities that shape future leaders and well-rounded citizens.
Here are a few photos that showcase some of the incredible opportunities available to our students.
Westwood High School’s robotics team creates innovative projects by applying engineering, coding, and collaboration skills.
Elementary students can explore enrichment activities like chess, UIL A+ Academics, robotics, and student leadership—offered both during and after the school day.
Tori Sanders, Region 13 Teacher of the Year, is honored alongside Dr. Logan Faris, Principal Gordon Butler, and the Round Rock High School Student Council.
The Stony Point High School Solar Car Team, an outstanding extracurricular program, proudly earned 3rd place in their summer competition.
We are truly proud of the diverse opportunities available across our campuses and grateful to our staff, families, and community partners who make these experiences possible. Together, we help every student thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
Thank you for helping make Round Rock ISD a community where every child’s growth and well-being are at the center of everything we do.
