A message from Dr. Hafedh Azaiez, Superintendent of Schools

Dear Round Rock ISD community,

With Veterans Day coming on Tuesday, I invite you to join us in honoring the brave men and women who have served our country. Many of our schools will host special programs and ceremonies recognizing our veterans’ courage, sacrifice and dedication.

These events provide students with the opportunity to learn about service, gratitude, and community while seeing firsthand the heroes who have protected the freedoms we enjoy.

Veterans Day

On behalf of everyone at Round Rock ISD, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all veterans for their service to our nation. As we honor our veterans, we also look forward to celebrating the season through the talents and dedication of our students in the performing arts.

This holiday season, Round Rock ISD’s state and nationally recognized fine arts programs are presenting nearly 40 student performances in band, choir, orchestra, piano and theater.

Caroling
We invite you to join us in celebrating the season and the incredible talent of our student performers. Performing for a live audience enriches the learning experience, and all proceeds from admissions and donations directly support our fine arts programs and students. Concerts and showcases begin Nov. 17 and continue through Dec. 16 at campuses and district venues near you. For more information about specific events, contact the hosting campus or visit Round Rock ISD Fine Arts.

We’re so proud of our students and staff, parent volunteers and booster clubs for their dedication, whether honoring veterans, performing on stage, or learning in the classroom. I hope you’ll join us at these events to celebrate their accomplishments and the spirit of our district. Thank you for being part of the Round Rock ISD community!

Respectfully,
