During the Dec. 16 Regular Board Meeting, trustees voted on new officers. Alicia Markum was re-elected as board president, Melissa Ross as vice president, and Michael Wei as secretary. All officers were elected by acclamation, meaning only one candidate was put forth and seconded for each position.

Trustees discussed the process for attending campus visits in the second semester, ensuring the visits have a purpose. Trustees said they hope to see campuses slated for 2024 Bond projects or get the chance to visit classes that align with board goals.
The board heard the fall report from Council of PTAs President Melissa Waelchli. Waelchli reviewed the 2025–26 PTA goals, provided a membership update and shared the recognitions earned by the PTA council in 2025.
The board approved Consent Items K1–8 unanimously, and approved Consent Item K9 by a vote of 5-0-1, with Landrum abstaining.
