Dear Round Rock ISD Community,
Our district’s commitment to building strong early skills in literacy, numeracy, language, and social-emotional development sets students up for success and prepares them for the academic challenges of later grades.
By investing in early learning, Round Rock ISD ensures students are well prepared for the learning ahead. More importantly, these early experiences encourage curiosity and a love of learning.
On Tuesday, March 31, our 35 elementary schools are hosting our annual Early Learning Day. This is a special opportunity for prospective Pre-K and kindergarten families to see firsthand how Round Rock ISD supports our youngest learners from the very start of their educational journey.

Early Learning Day 2024-25 at Caraway, Pond Springs, and Robertson elementary schools.
Families are encouraged to register for Early Learning Day in advance. Pre-K registration for 3- and 4-year-olds and student transfers for the 2026–27 school year open April 1. Registration and annual forms for returning students in grades kindergarten through 12 are now open.
In their early years, students learn how to think, explore and problem-solve, and our early investments help prepare students for important academic milestones. This spring, students in grades 3 through high school will participate in the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) and End-of-Course (EOC) exams, which take place from April 6 through May 1. These assessments measure how well students have mastered grade-level standards and provide valuable insight into their academic progress. From a premium early childhood education experience to opportunities at every grade level, Round Rock ISD is Central Texas's premier school district.
When today’s dismissal bell rings, Spring Break officially begins! I hope you take this well-deserved time to relax, recharge and enjoy moments with family and friends. Whether you’re traveling, staying close to home, or catching up on some rest, make the most of every minute before we return, ready to finish the school year strong.
Respectfully,
Dr. Hafedh "AZ" Azaiez
