Round Rock ISD students achieved remarkable success at the Texas State German Contest on February 28 at Texas State University. There, Round Rock ISD students competed against more than 700 top students from 41 schools across the state in various German-language competitions.
The district’s K-12 World Languages Coordinator, Marie-Christine Douglass, said she’s incredibly proud of our German Students for their combined achievements at the Texas State German Contest.
“The achievements of our students at the Texas State German Contest reflect an exceptional level of dedication, discipline, and commitment to excellence,” Marie Douglass, K-12 World Languages Coordinator, explains. “These accomplishments are made possible through the unwavering support and expertise of our teachers, whose efforts continue to elevate language learning across Round Rock ISD.”
Grisham Middle School, Cedar Ridge High School and Westwood High School students demonstrated outstanding performance in individual and group events, earning multiple awards and recognitions. Sweepstakes are awarded to schools receiving the highest number of points. Points are earned for each event in which a student places 1st through 10th.
