Amber Sealy has been named the new principal at Cactus Ranch Elementary School, starting the 2026-27 school year.
Sealy has 25 years of experience in elementary education, most recently serving as the school’s assistant principal.
During her time as assistant principal, Sealy focused on building strong relationships with students, staff and families through collaboration and clear communication. She also made sure to improve student achievement, support teacher development, and create a positive school culture.
“I am incredibly honored and excited to step into this role at a campus that has been my home for the past 25 years,” Sealy said. “I had the privilege of helping open Cactus Ranch Elementary in 2001 and have proudly served this community as both a teacher and assistant principal. I have grown alongside this campus throughout the years, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the school community I love. I look forward to building on our strong traditions and continuing the success that makes Cactus Ranch such a magical place.”
Prior to her campus leadership role, Sealy served as a third- and fifth-grade teacher at Cactus Ranch for more than 20 years.
"Ms. Sealy is a passionate leader who wants to see our students and staff continue to grow and lead," said Dr. Logan Faris, Round Rock Learning Community area superintendent. “I know she will continue to build high levels of student achievement, strong support for staff and strong ties to the community.”
Sealy holds a bachelor’s degree in social work and a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Texas at Austin. She will begin serving as principal in July.
