Voigt Arts Integration Academy

Marcelina Cobb has been named the new principal at Voigt Arts Integration Academy, starting with the 2026-27 school year.

Cobb has more than 15 years of experience in educational administration and teaching.  She joins the district from Manor ISD, where she has served as an elementary principal since 2021. She has also served as an elementary principal in Taylor ISD and as an assistant principal, instructional coach and teacher in Austin ISD.

“I am honored to return to the Round Rock ISD community, where my own journey in education began,” Cobb said. “Having lived in the Voigt community as a child, this opportunity is deeply personal to me. I look forward to building on the strong foundation already in place while partnering with staff, students and families to continue a tradition of excellence while ensuring every student is supported, challenged and inspired to succeed.”

During her time in campus leadership at Manor ISD and Taylor ISD, Cobb focused on expanding STEM initiatives and implementing systems to raise her school’s accountability rating.

“I am very excited to welcome Ms. Cobb to our school family, an experienced leader dedicated to fostering a tight-knit community and building relationships,” said Area Superintendent Nancy Guerrero. “ With strong experience driving academic success, she is committed to empowering our staff, supporting our positive campus culture and ensuring every student thrives.”

Cobb holds a bachelor's degree in electronic technology and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction, both from Texas State University.  She will join Round Rock ISD and Voigt Arts Integration Academy in July.
