New this school year: Round Rock ISD high schools will no longer be required to administer cumulative final exams, implement finals week schedules, or offer final exam exemptions based on attendance.

We are excited to welcome Gordon Butler to Round Rock ISD as the new Principal for Round Rock High School.
Mr. Butler has served as a previous principal, assistant principal, and assistant superintendent in several districts, and his first day with us is today, July 30.

The Texas Legislature passed House Bill 1481, which prohibits students from using personal devices during school hours. We want to ensure that our families and students are prepared for the change taking place this school year.
